《The Leaf, The Hand, The Rhythm》
— Intimacy of Tea Making
Growing up in a tea family in Taiwan, tea has always held a special place in my heart.
Spending three years abroad made me realize how strong my connection to home remains. In 2025, I returned to our tea farm to rethink my roots and heritage.
Through this series, I document intimate moments of my father and grandfather at work—the sweat on our skin, the crisp scent of fresh leaves, and the rhythm of hands transforming tea from light green to deep brown. It became a way for me to reconnect with both memory and the land.
This journey taught me to slow down and appreciate the value of a craft passed down through generations. Each step carries its own quiet significance, worth noticing and remembering.
