"What I want to draw is the everyday life of Taiwanese people with a 'grandma' feel."
—TINGFANG, Bologna Children's Book Fair Illustrators Exhibition Award Winner

Minor Heat, Autumn Equinox, Cold Dew... Through subtle and charming object pairings each month, echoing the natural rhythm of the 24 solar terms, this takes us deep into every corner of the island to closely read the local customs and daily life of this small island.

We specially invited Bologna award-winning artist TINGFANG to collaborate, reinterpreting common "grandma-esque" elements and local culture in Taiwanese daily life. Traditional festival snacks like cunjiao and malao, chili sauce for Dragon Boat Festival, aiyu jelly in midsummer, ponkan oranges in autumn, water caltrop stalls on country roads... Starting from memories of markets, land, and family, behind these geometric and concise images lies a deep observation and love for the land beneath our feet.
