Grandma always shouts when she sees me:
"My dear grandson! Have you eaten your fill?"
"Have You Eaten Your Fill?" is a story inspired by rice-based food culture.
It is also a microcosm of the people around us in our lives.

"Have you eaten yet?" connects Grandma with her neighbors;
To make his grandson "tighten up the big man,"
Grandma can conjure up all sorts of rice dishes;
Grandma's biggest concern is ensuring her grandson is well-fed.

The interaction between grandparents and grandchildren is the most touching part of the story.
The illustrator, Catfish, fully masters the language of images.
In a highly dynamic way,
It shows the deep affection and emotional changes between the grandparents and grandchildren.
The story ends with a theme of mutual care and inheritance within the family.

A story of great significance.
Exploring the rice culture of "Are you full?" through picture books.
Tell and listen to the stories of your grandparents' generation,

Author Introduction

Xu Liping / Author

I once worked as a children's book editor by accident, and now I am a freelance writer.

The birth of my child opened my eyes to a diverse and rich world of children's books; I've come to a deeper understanding of the enduring vitality of children's literature through its beautiful illustrations and text. Now, I continue to create to fill the bottomless well of my inner dreams; and because of the restless soul within me, fueled by a sense of inadequacy, I've fallen in love with independent travel. Creation and travel—two addictions I can't seem to shake!

Catfish / Illustrator

Graduated from the Department of Philosophy at National Taiwan University. Currently working as an illustrator, with picture books being her favorite medium.

When drawing, I like to experiment with a little of everything, exploring the possibilities of different media. My favorite creative themes naturally revolve around people and animals. My favorite corners in the world are a cat's belly and a dog's nose. I aspire to continue creating warm, powerful, and reflective works about life.
