100 street houses,
100 Ways to See Taiwan

From Taiwan's unique "carrying stick" to iron sheets,
Get a glimpse of life in Taiwan through 100 street house photos.
From Taiwan's unique "carrying stick" to iron sheets,
Get a glimpse of life in Taiwan through 100 street house photos.
A painter "walking" with his painting supplies on his back,
From south to north, from west to east,
Use warm colors to call out the unique life personality of the street house.
The mottled "iron sheet" represents people's desire for space;
The colorful "signboard" is a collage of color blocks interwoven with colorful lights;
"Living with trees" is like an angel that makes the space soft and powdery;
The "old house" seems to be a mysterious spectrum that allows it to communicate with the past...
Street houses are a mark created by time and its residents.
You and I live in it.

Special article recommendation
The author meticulously casts his gaze, and through his brush, he imprints the scene onto the paper like a chemical reaction. Landscapes need people to flavor them, and buildings need people to move around them. Take this book and follow the map to explore the colorful and warm jungle of Taiwan. --Ruan Guangmin
Through the artist's eyes, the street houses, with their exquisite gables and plasterwork, the rustic red brick walls, the tin tables, plastic chairs, stalls, vegetable baskets, clothes drying racks, and more, are transformed into a call to home through the masterful watercolor technique. Thanks to Kaixiang for capturing the contemporary Taiwanese landscape. -- Ling Zongkui
Street House is the beginning of understanding a city or a place, and it is the same all over the world. No matter where you are, reading this book can evoke the places you have been or are in, and the meaning of Street House to us. --Zhang Zhenfu
