10 children from all over the world,
10 Amazing Homes and Ways to Live!

Will it be cold to live in an igloo?
Are there secret passages and dungeons in the castle?
I want to try living in an underground maze.
Or rowing to school every day?

Visit children from all over the world
Experience a different local life!

★ Best building in the snow: igloos in northern Canada
★ Magnificent fortresses: castles in Germany
★ Water People: Cambodia's Stilt Houses
★ Smart Tower: Skyscraper in New York, USA
★ Aerial Observatory: Vanuatu's Tree House
★ Dancing Workshop: Dutch Windmill
★ A quiet little world: Siheyuan in Beijing, China
★ Cradle on the Canal: Canal Boats in London, England
★ Underground labyrinth: caves in Tunisia
★ Home across the mountains: Mongolian yurts

The illustrator used paper collage to create a sense of age for the building.
Then use delicate brushstrokes to depict the details of the house.

The stilt houses and tree houses are designed in an upright position.
The castle and boathouse are designed with pull-out pages.
Readers can see the 4-page spread.
Clearly see every room of the castle,
And the details of the houseboat from bow to stern!

About the Author

Sinni. Signe Torp

A Norwegian illustrator, she holds a Master's degree in children's book illustration from Cambridge School of Art in the UK. She currently lives in Oslo, the capital of Norway. My hobby since childhood has been painting. I like old houses, ancient people from hundreds of years ago, and counting down the days until Christmas.
