Understanding Chinese New Year culture through food
Food occupies a large part of our lives, especially during the Chinese New Year and other festivals. Eating different foods represents different meanings. Food not only carries local characteristics and culture, but most importantly, it transcends age and borders. This book uses "eating" as the main theme of the story. The delicious dishes are mouth-watering. Let us spend a reunion and a happy new year together!

About the Author
Su Yizhen
She holds a master's degree in child studies from Japan Women's University and is a doctoral candidate in the Department of Library and Information Science at the University of Tokyo. She researches children's literature and children's reading, translates picture books, and gives picture book lectures. She has also been invited to serve as a children's book consultant for the Kaohsiung City Library, a consultant for the children's book section of the New Taipei City Library, and a judge for the Golden Tripod Awards children's books.
