Jimmy Liao
Well-known picture book writer. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of China Culture University. Over the past 20 years, he has created more than 60 picture books. He is good at telling stories with colorful pictures and gentle and poetic words, which has healed the hearts of countless readers of all ages.
In 2003, he was selected as one of the "55 Most Creative People in Asia" by Japan's "STUDIO VOICE" magazine, and in 2007, he was selected as one of the six representative figures in the Discovery Channel's "Taiwan Figures II". There are Jimmy theme parks or landscape art in Taipei, New Taipei City, Yilan, Tainan and other places. He has also been invited to Japan to participate in the Land Art Festival and the Northern Alps Art Festival.
Many of Jimmy's works have been adapted into musicals, TV series, movies, and animations, and translated into multiple languages, including English, French, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, German, Russian, and Swedish.
