About the Author
Mike Barnett
A New York Times bestselling author, he has written many popular works, including He Yong. Collaborated with Karason on the Caldecott Honor-winning books "Magical Yarn" and "Digging Deeper and Deeper." Although he was not a great singer, he loved Christmas songs.
About the Illustrator
Sean Smith
He is the author of two picture books, Little Visitors in the City and Do You Remember…? He has won Canada's Governor General's Literary Award twice, the New York Times Best Children's Book of the Year four times, and the Hans Christian Andersen Award in 2024. At Christmas time, he loved to go sledding outside. Seaney currently lives with his family in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
