Born in Yunlin, Taiwan, she is a curious mother who believes in aliens but has never seen any aliens come to Taiwan.
She has a baby at home who loves to ask why. He is the source of inspiration for her children's books, and his shadow can occasionally be seen in her works. She loves telling stories and loves children, and the happiest thing for her is to create books that make children happy.
She has worked as a kindergarten teacher and editor-in-chief of children's books for a publishing house. She is now a freelance children's book writer. His works include "My Little Book", "Find a Book", "Touch the Book", "Creative Scratch Painting" and so on.
Hou Yanzhen/Illustrator
Graduated from the National Taiwan University of the Arts, currently works as a SOHO worker in his own studio. He started taking on illustration and graphic design projects in 1995. The name of his fan page is "五yen六色", where "yen" is derived from an English-sounding word in his real name.
