Lin Rongsan Literature Award first prize Lin Yi x Xue Huiying co-authored

No, it's very light.
You said you were uneasy and illiterate.

But I'm not afraid
Don't be afraid of writing like a snake

An illiterate grandma,
She was skipped, and then she grew old,
Then, she began to practice writing secretly.
From today on, she will pick up her dream.
Become your confident self.

Dedicated to each of you -
The gentle and strong you.

"Phonetic Exercises" is a poem written by Lin Yi, who won the 14th Lin Rongsan Literary Award. The New Poetry Award [First Prize], and the painter Xue Huiying, who was selected for the Bologna Illustration Exhibition in Italy this year, depicted the mother who worked hard all her life with delicate brushstrokes and detailed images, showing moving emotions. Readers can not only read the poem alone, but also read the painting alone. By reading the two together, they can better understand how a mother sacrificed herself, started to learn, and looked forward to living a different life.
