About the Author

Zhang Lingling / Author

He graduated from the Japanese Department of Soochow University and went to Japan to study "Folk Tales Research". Finally, he found his interest and expertise in the publishing industry. Because of her work, she came into contact with children's books and fell in love with them. Zhang Lingling believes that everyone has a "child" in their heart, which represents innocence and the spirit of courage to try, but when we grow up, this child hides away.

Liu Zonghui/Illustrator

I have loved painting since I was a child. I create every picture with a sincere attitude and try to break through my previous painting skills and ideas, so that the picture itself can tell the story and have an independent life.

His paintings have won numerous awards: "The Mouse Marries a Bride" won the Grand Prize of the 1992 Catalonia International Illustration Biennial in Spain, was listed in the China Times Top Ten Children's Books List, and won the 1993 Golden Tripod Award; "The Divine Bird Xirek" won the Golden Dragon Award of the Children's Literature Award Society of the Republic of China; "Yuanyuan's Dream of Getting Rich" won the 1994 Sarmede International Illustration Tour in Italy, and was selected for the 1995 Bologna World Children's Illustration Exhibition in Italy...etc.
